Miracles Can Happen

Since about lunchtime I have been a blubbering mess. Why? Well, my BFF Stacey emailed me with the FISH results for the newest addition to the family. And everything looks good! Stacey and her husband have a healthy baby boy growing. Praise God!

I have been praying and wishing on a star every night in the hopes that this little one would be healthy and that mom and dad would be blessed to take him home and look to the future with him. After talking to her on the phone, with both of us sniffling, I got back from lunch and started to work. Of course, we emailed a couple more times where tears commenced again. Happy tears, ones that make me want to sing from the rooftops.

Of course, I opted against that since that would probably make that dogs cry in pain and a visit to the nearest jail for booking. But it is the thought that counts.

So keep on praying that this continues to be a happy, healthy pregnancy and that the in the very near future they will be smiling ear to ear, even when it is on only a few hours of sleep! Thank you all so much. I love it when I can see a miracle happen so close.

What you see is what you get; I am a Nashville girl who is single, again. I use the blog to get my inner, tortured, wanna be writer angst out. One day I just may write a book. I have been stumbling through life for 43 years now, I love to cook, read and figure out more embarrassing ways I can either harm myself (thank you hula hoop of 2010 and the case of the thrown back) or just prove how inept I am at household chores and dieting. The people you read about on here are real but most have had their names changed to protect the innocent and not so innocent. And I really should make a list of them so I can remember! Enjoy, read, mock, laugh and comment, it really isn't difficult. Plus, I would prefer reading comments from real people as opposed to the weird spam comments I keep getting. Plus, I will always find the hardest path to follow and take that one, why would anyone want to take the easy way?!
